Before you start: Prep your skin

It’s important to take good care of your skin before you’re going to apply any makeup. The make-up will not only go on much smoother but it’s going to be beneficial for your skin in the long run. Think of it like a painting, the colours will look their best on a clean canvas. First I cleansed my face and neck (never forget the neck) with a cleansing milk and a toner to restore the PH. As a second step to this routine I put on a serum and moisturizer wich is the perfect nutrition for the skin. AirBrush_20181110205431Step 1: The base

¬† If you want your base to stay on all day I really recommend you to use a primer. I used the¬†No7 Skin Illuminator, which basically a liquid highlighter that also serves as a primer. Perfect for a little glowdevil like me. ūüôā Instead of foundation I used the third lightest concealer of the Morphe palette to even out my skin tone (I’m a full coverage glamazon like that). And to prevent it from looking streakish I buffed it in with circular motions using my BH Cosmetics Contour brush nr1.AirBrush_20181110155514AirBrush_20181110161258Step 2: Contouring¬† ¬†

Since I never leave the house without my face fully contoured, I simply can’t leave this step out. First I applied the lightest concealer from the¬†Morphe Palette¬†on the bridge of my nose, underneath my eyes, the middle of my forehead and on my chin. I buffed this out with the same¬†BH Cosmetics brush¬†I used in the base. After that I applied the darkest shade from (you guessed it) the Morphe Palette right underneath my cheekbones, the top of my forehead, the sides of my nose and underneath my bottom lip (to make it appear more full).
AirBrush_20181110164443Step 3: Blush

¬† To make my face alive again I applied a pale pink blush from¬†The colour Workshop¬†using a BH Cosmetics Blush brush nr.3. And don’t be afraid to be generous with the blush, I love to apply it all over my cheeks all the way up to my temples. ūüėČ AirBrush_20181110171957Step 4: Eyebrows

I filled in my eyebrows with light feathery strokes using a black Kohl eyeliner from Make-up Studio. Once filled in, I cleaned the lines with concealer using a Sisley Concealer Brush. I love how It creates a perfect contrast with the rest of my look! airbrush_20181110175647.jpgAirBrush_20181110180558Step 5: Highlighter

If you like to have a glow that can put the sun out of business, keep on reading. ūüėČ I applied the Zoeva highlighter from the Sweet Glamour palette in the colour “interpretation of dreams”¬†(a white glittery colour) on my cheekbones, chin, above my upper lip, on the bridge of my nose and in the middle of my forehead with a BH cosmetics Highlighter brush nr.4. To make it even more poppin’ , I layered a subtle layer of the colour “Saturn” (a gold eyeshadow) from the BH Galaxy Chic palette overneath it. airbrush_20181110204022-e1541879152924.jpgAirBrush_20181110195108airbrush_20181110195954.jpgAirBrush_20181110201313AirBrush_20181110200552AirBrush_20181110202238Step 5: Eyeshadow

And now the most fun part, eyeshadow! I applied a white shade from The Color Workshop on the entire lid to make to make the colours appear extra bright and prominent. After that I used a bright yellow colour from The Zulu Palette by Juvia’s Place (the pigment is to die for *drool*). I patted it on using a BH Cosmetics dense crease brush nr.5, starting from the inner corner to the middle of the lid, under the eye and in the lash line (blend it out ever so slightly). The third step is to take a bright orange shadow (I picked the colour from the same palette) and apply it on the outer corner of the eye and underneath the lash line, I blended this out all the way to the yellow using a BH tapered blending brush nr.6.¬†As finishing touch I added a generous amount of the colour “Saturn” (a gold eyeshadow) from the BH Galaxy Chic Palette on the inner corner and on the middle of the lid to create more glamour. ūüôā AirBrush_20181110183528Step 6:Mascara

To give my look even more definition I applied a few coatings of  The Full Lash Volume Mascara from Shiseido. The perfect mascara if you want to make your eyes look bigger and more open.AirBrush_20181110191456Step7:Freckles

While I do have freckles, I covered them all up with concealer (lol) . So I opted to create some faux ones. And I absolutely love how they came out! You can use any brown or black eye-or lipliner. I used a soft brown lipliner…Meanwhile there’s no guide on where to place them, the best advice I can give¬† is “to dot the night away”.

Step 8: Lips

I¬†talked about pigmentation before, but this lipstick brings the meaning of pigmentation to a whole other level. If you’re looking for the perfect yellow liquid lipstick, I can really recommend “Queen Bee” from Jeffree Star Cosmetics. I must admit they are a difficulty to apply without smudging…but hey we always have concealer. And after that It stays on its place for an entire day.

P.S. If you would like to recreate this look, I hope you enjoy it every step on the way! It doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of these make-up items, they’re only here as a guideline. ūüôā

Enjoy your day, XOXO, Gianni
